Colombian artist living and working in London, using expanded notions of drawing and collage to explore embodied narratives and the coming-together of image, text and voice.

With an iterative nature, Rivas Velásquez’s practice operates as a series of long-term projects under which artworks manifest as single works, public readings, installations and publications. Through a process of re-configuration at each iteration, the work combines drawing, painting, text and performance.
